and suddenly a malicious program installed itself on my PC without my consent.

It even prevented me from running Task Manager.

my PC was attacked by a fake antivirus program called "AV Security 2012".

It displays fake error messages consistently
that it makes you buy the so-called "antivirus program"

It took me roughly more than half a day to counterattack it.
Luckily, I found these sites that helped me removed it.
